Animo New Arrivals – Zico and Zepellin

April 7th, 2014 Posted by News No Comment yet

The wonderful new arrivals to kick off the 2014 spring-summer season are the men’s and women’s riding boots, as worn by Robert and his daughter, Chloe Smith.

Zico is the women’s model, while Zepellin is the men’s version. They come with a fabulous anatomical design created to fit perfectly around the leg, wrapping it like a glove thanks to the very soft leather.

They are a light, elegant and comfortable boot which allows maximum adherence to the horse and agile movement of the heel and foot. Available in black with details that add personality: a rear zip and two additional straps – one at the top in red, and one behind the heel and with the logo embossed on the side.

Available in sizes XS-S-M-L-XL. (Euros: 549.00 – 569.00)

Team GB finish 2nd in Falsterbo

July 31st, 2013 Posted by News No Comment yet

Falsterbo played host to the Swedish leg of the FEI Top Level Nations Cup series with Robert Smith’s talented bay mare Voila IV making an impressive debut in top level competition by achieving a double clear. The team of William Funnell (Billy Angelo), Alexandra Thornton (Cabellero 84), Tina Fletcher (Ursula XII) and Robert Smith (Voila IV) finished on 12 penalties narrowly behind Sweden, who were fielding their Olympic team.

Rob Hoekstra commented, “We are very pleased with the result. We had three new horses for the first time in Top Level Nations Cup. Robert Smith’s horse jumped superbly and they look like they’ve got a great future ahead of them and today gave us exactly what we needed and also shows that we are in a solid position with the way the strength of our team keeps building and developing. Will Funnell produced three fantastic clear rounds and Billy Angelo is proving to be a great team horse the more experience he’s getting under his belt. When you consider that Sweden had their Olympic team out I’m just please that we came so close to them!”
