Robert Smith has recently become a UK agent for the innovative range of high-tech horse treadmills and acqua trainers from Horse-Gym-2000 GmbH, renowned for their build-quality and reliability.

Today treadmills are used more and more for training horses across all equestrian disciplines to help build-up muscle (especially in the back area) and to increase stamina.  They are also beneficial in building up fitness levels after periods of rest or injury.

Robustly constructed and used by professionals all over the world, the Horse-Gym 2000 treadmill has been designed to offer the ultimate in technological advances with many special safety features including the light barrier, emergency stop and safety lock.

One innovation is the floor material which allows the horse to walk on a ground comparable to a grass.  The action of the floor allows the horse to walk steadily and evenly in time to the movement of the treadmill. It also features an automatic start and speed regulation with a variety of program options operated from the control panel. 

Horse-Gym-2000 treadmills are available in a variety of models – in one or two frame systems -with many accessories and options.  The model pictured and installed at Robert Smith’s yard in Warwickshire is the S3 Blue Edition with Makrolon panes and a control unit which can be individually programmed.  The roof is an added extra.
