ROBERT WINS BRITISH MASTERS ON VANGELIS S
Robert Smith won the National Friendly British Masters Show Jumping final following two fabulous rounds on his and Sharon Baldwin’s talented stallion, Vangelis S picking up £10,000 in prize money.
The impressive Vangelis S jumped a double clear to victory in a hard fought contest ahead of Guy Williams on Torinto Van De Middelstede and Nick Skelton on Nemo 119.
The event at Chester Racecourse built on the success of last year’s inaugural competition, attracting nearly 13,000 people to a variety of top class show jumping, displays and entertainment. Once again, it broke with tradition introducing polo shirts for the riders, betting on course and a wide selection of family entertainment.
